  1. Jago of the 7 knives says:

Obviously it is an alternate earth wherein a different set of circumstances may have made certain technologies come into being much more earlier or sustained the political-economic-and social status quo beyond its intended time. The Victorian era in our world was considered as the beginning of globalization (the industrial revolution-Victorian era being called PROTO-GLOBALIZATION), and it could have been that worldwide economic globalization did become a reality more than 100 years before the collapse of the COLD WAR which actually hindered the growth of a global economy. Thus, NEO VICTORIA became a way of life well into the era which we call the 1930s. This seems to be a more organized VICTORIAN ERA because the City of London which you featured on page 1 panel 1 does not seem to have any crooked streets. London is notorious for having crooked streets! A reason as to why cab drivers takes not less than two to three years to orient themselves properly to its unique geography in order to obtain the KNOWLEDGE of a London cab driver. I am looking forward to your updates and the development of your steampunk story.
